_We invite everyone to look around the website. I have a theory that is centered around simplicity. I hold this theory for a couple of reasons. Simple websites allow faster browsing and gets the job done. For those with modern super fast connections, one can throw caution to the wind and put all sorts of fancy gadgetry on a web page. Many ministries are geared that way. That being said though... most folks have normal connections and while they are multiple times faster than the old dial-up methods... they can still poke badly on sites with tons of graphics and really cool stuff. I have nothing against all of that and enjoy some of those things myself but what is more important to me is the message. Here, we want to provide you with a message and not a show. It is our prayer that something we say or have said will touch you in some way thus giving us a part in changing your life for the better as we get your focus on the thing that matters most... Eternity with our Lord.
As you read, if you have any questions or comments about what you read (or hear), we encourage you to use the contact page and ask, comment, or tell us that we're stone-cold nuts. We do enjoy hearing from others, even those that disagree. If you check out our links above you will notice that there are drop-down menu's on several of the locations. This will grow as time goes on so bookmark this page and check back as often as you can. We will be adding things daily and within the next 45 days you should see some stabilization in the general order of things. The banner that we have now is a temporary banner. Jennifer is a great designer of things like that and will get to that as soon as she gets settled into her new home and has a moment to create the banner. I look forward to seeing what she comes up with!
If you have any recommendations of how we can make this site better or function more easily then please contact me. This is something that we will strive to perfect. We know that we cannot please everyone in this regard but we do want to give it that good old college try!
Be blessed in all that you do and everywhere your feet land.

Motivation Behind Project Peter Ministries
_I have always had a special drawing to the Apostle Peter. He was certainly impetuous and in many ways that is how many would describe me. About six years ago, after changing the ministry up considerably, I was waiting for the Lord to show me direction. Another thing that I had in common with Peter was that I too walked away from the Lord. I never outright denied him with my mouth and don't think I ever could... no matter how bad I was. Yet my actions denied him very loudly. I was led to the last chapter of John when Jesus asked Peter if he loved Him. Three times he asked and the third time it sort of miffed Peter as to why Jesus would ask him three times. I suspect it never crossed his mind that it was the same amount of times that Peter denied His Savior. Christ gave Peter those three times to redeem himself and turn that around. Afterwards, Jesus gave Peter the same commission that He gave Peter a little better than 3 years before that, telling him, "follow me." I understood clearly that the Lord was speaking to me as well in this. Don't worry about others... you have affirmed your love for me so now... follow me.
I was then led to 2 Peter 1: 1-11. I have read this passage many times but it really hammered me this time. Here, Peter gives us the way to ensure that we are secure in Christ. A wonderful guarantee is shared with us in this passage of Scripture. We've all been given a like measure of faith. Now... we add to that faith. As long as we are progressing in those traits then we will never stumble. From that day on I made this my rallying cry if you will. I've written about this passage of Scripture many times over the years. I bring it up anywhere I can and however often I can. I've preached it in many a pulpit since then and will continue to do so.
Peter says in the verses following that he would remind them of this as long as he lived and that day I purposed to grab that mantle from him and remind folks of it as often as I could. That has been my goal for these years and I too will do this as long as I continue to live. When I am gone, it is my desire that my daughter Jennifer grab that same mantle and with the gifting that she has... it will be something else to witness!
I pray that in some way, something said on this website will pierce your heart, convict you, edify you, and perhaps even kick you in the backside if that is what is needed. If you ever have any questions or even comments then PLEASE feel free to email us or use the contact form provided. We look forward to any and all request, feedback, comments, and even critique.
